I’m Alex Beattie — a senior full-stack and AI engineer based in Los Angeles with 14+ years of experience shipping software.

Currently I’m the sole backend and AI engineer at Ourself Health, where I’m building an AI health assistant powered by Claude via AWS Bedrock. The system uses multi-agent orchestration (Strands SDK), RAG pipelines with pgvector, and streams responses over SSE to a Flutter frontend.
